Overview

When you need to remove cards from your inventory β€” whether they were duplicates, misidentified, or no longer needed β€” RocketVault provides both individual and bulk delete options.

Deleting a Single Card

Open a card’s detail page to find the Delete option
Select multiple cards using checkboxes for bulk delete

Find the Card

Go to Cards in the sidebar and locate the card you want to delete. You can use search or filters to find it quickly.

Open Card Detail

Click on the card to open its detail page.

Click Delete

Click the Delete button (trash icon). A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.

Confirm

Click Confirm Delete. The card and its images will be permanently removed from your inventory.

🚨

Deletions Are Permanent

Deleted cards cannot be recovered. If you're unsure, consider changing the card's status instead of deleting it. You can always re-upload the card images later if needed.

Bulk Deleting Cards

To delete multiple cards at once:

Select Cards

On the Cards page, use the checkboxes to select the cards you want to delete. You can also use Select All to select all visible cards (respects current filters).

Click Bulk Delete

In the bulk action bar that appears at the bottom, click Delete Selected.

Confirm

Review the count of cards to be deleted, then confirm. This action cannot be undone.

⚠️

Check for Active Listings

If any selected cards have active eBay listings, you'll be warned. End or remove the eBay listings before deleting cards to avoid having orphaned listings on eBay that you can no longer manage.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete a card:

  • βœ… Card record and all metadata
  • βœ… Uploaded front and back images
  • βœ… Pricing data associated with the card
  • βœ… Any draft listings for the card
  • ❌ Active eBay listings are NOT automatically ended
  • ❌ Historical sales data is NOT removed from your profit/loss tracking

Tips

  • Use filters before bulk delete β€” Filter by status "Error" to clean up failed uploads, or by date to remove old inventory
  • Export first β€” If you need records, export to CSV before deleting
  • Check lot membership β€” Cards in lots must be removed from the lot before deletion
