Automate pricing, listing, and card processing with RocketVault's smart rules and configuration options.
Overview
RocketVault is designed to minimize manual work. From automatic pricing to AI-generated listings, most of the heavy lifting happens without your intervention. This guide explains what's automated and how to customize the behavior.
Automatic Processing Pipeline
When you upload a card, the following happens automatically:
- Image upload → Stored securely in the cloud
- AI identification → RocketAI analyzes front/back images
- Card database matching → Matched against millions of known cards
- Parallel detection → Visual analysis for variant identification
- Pricing → Market price pulled from RocketVault Pricing DB
- Status assignment → Ready for Listing or Needs Review
You don't need to trigger any of these steps — they happen automatically within seconds of upload.
Configurable Automation
Auto-Pricing on Upload
By default, cards are priced as soon as they're identified. You can configure this in Settings > Pricing:
- Enable/Disable — Turn auto-pricing on or off
- Pricing source preference — Choose primary pricing source
Review Thresholds
Configure when cards are sent to manual review in Settings > Review:
- Confidence threshold — Cards below this confidence level go to review (default: 80%)
- Value threshold — Cards above this value go to review (default: $50)
- Special card types — Always review autographs, memorabilia, or serial-numbered cards
Balancing Speed and Accuracy
Lower confidence thresholds mean more cards flow through automatically (faster), but some might be misidentified. Higher thresholds catch more issues but require more manual review. Start with the default (80%) and adjust based on your experience.
Processing Settings
Customize AI behavior in Settings > Processing:
- Extraction mode — Standard (faster) or detailed (more thorough)
- Image compression — Adjust quality vs. speed trade-off
Bulk Automation
For batch operations on existing cards:
- Bulk Refresh Pricing — Update prices for hundreds of cards at once
- Bulk Reprocess — Re-run AI identification on selected cards (useful after accuracy improvements)
- Bulk Status Change — Move cards between statuses in bulk

Workflow Tips
Note
For maximum efficiency:
- Upload in batches (ZIP files are fastest)
- Let auto-pricing run on upload
- Review the Needs Review queue once a day
- Use bulk operations for pricing refreshes
- Let RocketAI generate listings, then review before publishing
This workflow can process hundreds of cards with minimal manual effort.
