Collections & Wishlist
Organize cards you own into collections, and bookmark cards from the catalog into your wishlist. Both live under My Collection in the sidebar.
Overview
My Collection in the sidebar is RocketVault's home for the cards you care about — both the ones you already own (Collection) and the ones you're hunting (Wishlist). They are two related but separate features:
| Feature | Route | Source of cards | What it's for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Collection | /collection | Your uploaded inventory | Group cards you own into themed buckets (PC, by sport, by team, by set) |
| Wishlist | /wishlist | The RocketVault catalog | Bookmark cards you want to buy, with eBay deep links |
Both are accessible under My Collection in the left sidebar. Each has its own dedicated guide:
- Collections guide — full details on creating, editing, and managing collections
- Wishlist guide — full details on building and using your wishlist
This page covers both at a higher level for the common workflow of organizing what you have and tracking what you want.
Collections (cards you own)
Collections are flexible groupings of cards already in your inventory.
Creating a collection
Step 01
Open Collection
Click My Collection → Owned Cards in the sidebar.
Step 02
New Collection
Click New Collection, give it a name, optional description, and pick from one of the eight preset colors.
Step 03
Add cards
Add cards from any of three places:
- The collection page itself — Add Cards opens a filterable inventory picker
- A card detail page — Add to Collection picks the destination
- The Catalog (Search Cards or Set Detail) — folder icon on each row
Inline management
Hover a collection tile to reveal edit (pencil) and delete (trash) buttons. Edit lets you change name, description, or color. Delete removes the grouping but never deletes the underlying cards — they stay in your main inventory.
Collection limits by plan
| Plan | Collections |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 |
| Collector | 10 |
| Seller | Unlimited |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Personal vs. For-Sale
Use separate collections to keep your "never selling" personal cards organized away from your business inventory.
Wishlist (cards you want)
The Wishlist is a single list of catalog cards you want to acquire, with live pricing and one-click eBay search on every entry.
Adding to your wishlist
Step 01
Browse or search the catalog
Go to Catalog and either browse sets or use Search Cards to find a specific card.
Step 02
Click the heart
On any catalog row, click the heart icon to save it to your wishlist. The heart fills in pink to confirm.
Step 03
View your wishlist
Open My Collection → Wishlist in the sidebar.
What's on each wishlist entry
- Card details — player, set, year, card number, parallel
- Estimated raw price — current market value from RocketVault Pricing
- Buy Now button — opens an eBay search pre-filled with year + player + set + card number + parallel (affiliate-aware link)
- Remove — trash icon (with confirmation dialog) to take it off the wishlist
The wishlist supports table and grid views on desktop; mobile is locked to grid.
Common Questions
Can a card be in multiple collections? Yes. A single card can belong to multiple collections at once.
Does removing a card from a collection delete it? No — removing from a collection only removes the association. The card stays in your main inventory and in any other collections it belongs to.
What's the difference between Collection and Wishlist? Collection holds cards you own (uploaded into RocketVault). Wishlist holds cards from the catalog you want to buy. Wishlist entries are pointers to catalog cards; they aren't part of your inventory until you actually own them.
Can I share a collection with someone else? Not yet. Collection sharing is on the roadmap.
